"Two on a Party" tells the tale of an unlikely couple who take a road trip of unbridled sex in the straight-laced 1950’s. When Cora meets Billy, they are a simply a couple of hungry predators on a couple of New York barstools; they soon discover a bond in their ravenous lust for men. “Two On A Party” is a heartbreaking tale of companionship, and one of the Williams’ spiciest, funniest stories, conveying all the heat and aching desire of his greatest plays.
Of Word for Word’s "Two on A Party", the critics say: “Williams writing is thrilling…I’ve said it before and I plan on saying it again and again: there’s nothing better than a good Word for Word show. Take a story, add a stage, throw in a dash of brilliance.” (Chad Jones, TheatreDogs).
